About Us

December 31, 2017

In 2017, we decided to recognize a local teacher who has made a positive impact in a studentís life. We used our Facebook page ( to place the call for teacher nominations. As a result, we received many letters from students and parents on behalf of their young children nominating teachers who had made a difference in their life. It was not easy to decide on a winner since many great teachers go beyond their regular duties to help a student. The winner of this yearís teacher recognition award was Mrs. Annette Clutter of St. Anneís Education Center. She has made an impact in her young student Arely and her family. Mrs. Ontiveros is so grateful that when she saw our Facebook post asking for nominations there was no doubt she had Mrs. Clutter in mind. Mrs. Clutter received a copy of the letter submitted and said she would read it at home.
Thanks to everyone who participated!
